Drawing on his experience from rescuing people in Nepal, Lhakpa extinguished a taxi fire in just 30 seconds, preventing potential disaster.
His bravery hasn't gone unnoticed! New York City Assemblywoman Jennifer, Congresswoman Grace Meng, Councilman Shekhar Krishnan, and New York State Comptroller Brad Lander honored him for his courageous actions.
